Dr Hari Jayaram.is the Director of the Glaucoma Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He is a clinician-scientist specialising in the medical, laser and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataract surgery, especially in complex cataract surgery in patients with glaucoma and cataracts. His research is focused on clinical and laboratory based projects based on delivering new treatments to patients, His clinical research focuses on new surgical treatments for glaucoma and optimising surgical outcomes, with a laboratory focus on experimental glaucoma, the use of small molecules to prevent injury from glaucoma and the use of stem cells in developing new treatments for glaucoma..

Dr Hari Jayaram sees private patients at Moorfields Private Eye Hospital (close to Old Street station) and the Moorfields Private Eye Centre in the West End (between Baker Street and Bond Street stations). Remote consultations at a mutually convenient time are also available via Trustedoctor.

Dr Jayaram is recognised as a specialist by the major insurance companies, including Aetna, Alliance Health Group, AVIVA, AXA, BUPA, CIGNA, CS Healthcare, General & Medical, Healix Health, Vitality and WPA.

Dr Jayaram also sees self-funded patients. The cost of a new patient consultation is £300 and the cost of a follow up consultation is £200, excluding any diagnostic tests that may be necessary. Credit or debit card payment are accepted.
